Workshop Design
Documentation

After approval of the main design solutions, the workshop design documentation is developed. While the design documentation confirms the overall technical concept and compliance with RMRS requirements, the workshop documentation translates these solutions into a level of detail required for fabrication, assembly, installation, and quality control during ship construction.

We prepare detailed production drawings for hull structures, ship systems, machinery, outfitting, electrical equipment, automation systems, ventilation, superstructure, foundations, piping systems, cable routing, and other ship components. The documentation is structured to support all key stakeholders involved in the construction process, including production workshops, procurement departments, installation teams, quality control services, and shipyard engineers.

Workshop documentation is not only required to be complete from a formal standpoint, but also practical and production-oriented. For this reason, its development takes into account assembly methods, installation accessibility, inspection and testing requirements, welding procedures, installation sequencing, and the specific capabilities of the shipyard. This approach helps reduce queries during construction and minimizes the risk of rework.

The outcome of this stage is a complete set of workshop design documentation, enabling the shipyard to carry out fabrication, procurement, assembly, installation, quality control, and preparation of the vessel for testing and commissioning.
