MS RUS ENERGY SOLUTIONS at the Data Center Forum in Moscow
MS RUS ENERGY SOLUTIONS once again took part in the annual Data Center Forum, held in Moscow on September 2–3, 2026. Throughout the event, the heads of MS RUS's energy division held a series of business meetings and discussions with the company's customers and partners, while also taking part in key sessions of the Forum's business programme.
Igor Gegenya, Director of Power Generation at MS RUS, participated as an industry expert in the conference session titled “Distributed Generation: A Solution to the Problem or a New Challenge?”, which focused on the role of local gas-fired power generation in meeting the growing energy requirements of data centers.
The company's expertise was highly recognized by the Forum organizers and representatives of the data center industry, particularly in connection with the implementation of a strategically important project: the construction of a 6.6 MW gas engine power plant for Beeline's data center in Yaroslavl. The power plant operates at 10.5 kV and is based on Yuchai gas engine generator sets, each rated at 1.1 MW, with provision for future conversion to a trigeneration configuration.
The discussions also covered key aspects of data center power infrastructure, including power plant redundancy, parallel operation with the utility grid, integration with uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, and diesel generator sets (gensets). Industry experts provided a detailed overview of the entire power center development and approval process — from obtaining technical connection specifications to commissioning the facility for commercial operation.
MS RUS ENERGY SOLUTIONS has extensive experience in the supply, engineering, construction and operation of Yuchai gas engine generator sets in Russia. The company is a certified Yuchai service center, with a service team of more than 20 engineers who have completed specialized training in China.
We would like to thank the organizers of the Data Center Forum 2026 for providing an effective platform for professional exchange and industry dialogue. The Forum gave us an opportunity to meet new customers, strengthen relationships with existing partners and discuss opportunities for further cooperation.
We look forward to seeing you at the Data Center Forum 2027.
